Hospital Metropolitano de Santiago graduates new medical specialists
In a special ceremony, sixteen new specialists from the Medical Residency program of our hospital, endorsed by the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, were invested as part of the commemoration of the tenth anniversary. The specialty degrees obtained corresponded to the areas of Internal Medicine, General and Laparoscopic Surgery, Medical Imaging, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. The activity was headed by Dr. Estelio Arvelo, head of Medical Education; Dr. Mirlan De Los Santos, medical director; Dr. Héctor Sánchez Navarro, representative of the general management; Dr. José de Jesús Álvarez of the Board of Directors and Dr. José de Jesús Álvarez of the Board of Directors. Zunilda Núñez, director of medical research of the institution, accompanied by the coordinators of each specialty.
The graduates of this eighth graduating class are:
- Dr. Shaony Gelabert Hernández in Intensive Care.
- Dr. Cleiry García López , Dra. Rut Rodríguez Reyes, Dra. Carla Cuello de los Santos, Dra. Massiel Morel, Dr. Rommell Morel Tejada and Dra. Nathalie Pichardo Cabrera in Internal Medicine.
- Dr. José Sicard Hernández, Dra. Mardelin Torres Díaz, Dr. Isidro de León Felipe in General and Laparoscopic Surgery.
- Dr. Patricia Núñez Sánchez, Dra. Lissette León Hernández and Dra. Débora Ovalles García in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation.
- Dr. Juanna Quiñones Bueno, Dra. Yesenia Germán Peña, Dra. Yasmell Rodríguez Rodríguez in Radiology.
