Hospital Metropolitano de Santiago commemorates its tenth anniversary with thanksgiving Eucharist
Hospital Metropolitano de Santiago celebrated its tenth anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving.
The religious ceremony was officiated by Monsignor Agripino Núñez in the hospital’s entrance atrium.
Dr. Rafael Sánchez Español, president of the Board of Directors, said that with this Eucharistic ceremony, in addition to giving thanks to God, we have come to ask him to enlighten us, so that we are able to give continuity and remain faithful to the objectives that started this center ten years ago, to continue betting on the future and influencing the transformations of the Dominican Health System.
“We will continue with the challenge of reaching out to all sectors of the community, including the most vulnerable social sectors through our HOMS Foundation for Human Solidarity, which since the origin of the Hospital has been our contribution to those most in need,” he said.
During the ceremony, the personnel participated in the readings, petitions, in a special choir and in the offertory where the 10 years of HOMS were presented before the Altar through its most important symbols such as the instruments of medical work.
The event was attended by physicians, medical and administrative staff, technical and administrative personnel of the hospital, users, friends and collaborators.
