HOMS renovates radiology department
With the commitment to continue offering the highest quality service, HOMS renewed the technology used in the Radiology Department to offer greater safety in the results for the benefit of its users and professionals.
The physical expansion has an investment of more than 45 million pesos, together with 125 million pesos of purchased equipment. This department is composed of: 2 MRI machines, 2 CT scanners (one of them with 64 slices), 3 X-ray machines, 7 sonographers, 1 densitometer and 1 mammographer are the total of top of the line equipment, in an area of more than 800 m2.2.
All studies are performed by professional radiologists with the best experience in the region in diagnostic imaging who report daily the examinations referred by the specialists.
In addition, they have a sonography area dedicated to the care of hospitalized patients and an interventional radiology team, which performs studies through minimally invasive percutaneous approaches, among others.
Dr. Luis José Castillo, head of the department, explains that “together with the professionals and the teams, we have designed an integrated and patient-focused organization, which means less waiting time and more speed”.
In addition to having an innovative medical image archiving and communication system, which facilitates their storage and management for better diagnostic quality, guaranteeing work efficiency.
