A Pink Morning was held with a panel on the multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

These specialists oriented the women on the process of prevention, detection and treatment from the different specialties involved in the healing process.

Rafael Gutiérres, oncologist and director of the Cancer Center; Martín Martínez, gynecologic oncologist; Adderlee Taveras, clinical psychologist; and Annabella Viloria, radiation oncologist.

This activity was held at the Santiago City Hall with the participation of the city’s sanitation personnel and was part of the beginning of a series of activities that will be carried out throughout the month of October.

In this sense, the volunteers of the HOMS Foundation and the HOMS Cancer Center during a morning full of information aimed at prevention, offered facilities for sonomamography and mammography studies.
