Cardiovascular
The Cardiovascular Center (CCV) is the HOMS proposal aimed at the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
We offer comprehensive, personalized and multidisciplinary care with all the diagnostic and therapeutic means available.
A medicine within reach of all patients with cardiovascular disease, concentrated on levels 11 and 12 of our hospital building, where cardiovascular care services are coordinated with all hospital departments: radiology, emergencies, nuclear medicine, laboratory, intensive care, etc. In addition, we have a specific hospitalization area with 36 single rooms.
The CCV is made up of the following departments:
Non Invasive Cardiology
We have the most advanced technology for the correct diagnosis and subsequent treatment of patients with cardiovascular pathology; we have three rooms for echocardiography (Transthoracic Echo, Transesophageal Echo, 3D Echo, Echo Strain), three rooms for stress tests and one for Tilt Test or Tilt table.

Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology
It has two specific state-of-the-art hemodynamics rooms where all endovascular procedures are performed. Includes coronary intervention, neurointervention and peripheral vascular intervention.

Vascular Surgery
Medical-surgical and interventional specialty that offers the management of diseases of the peripheral vascular system (arteries, veins and lymphatic system) in the arteries of the whole body except heart and brain.
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
Available for patients with acute heart disease (acute coronary syndrome, complex arrhythmias, cardiovascular post-surgery) managed in coordination with the Cardiology, Emergency, Hemodynamics, Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Surgery departments.
Coordinated by Dr. Alfa Kenia Fernández – Intensivist Cardiologist.
