Attention to the donor
Located in the sample collection area is the donor care area, where the entire donation selection process will begin, which includes several phases: documentation, evaluation, screening, donor bleeding.
For scheduled surgeries and transfusions
Donor service hours are as follows
Monday to Friday from 8am - 5 pm and
Saturdays from 8am - 12pm
For emergencies
Go to the donor care area for sample collection, once you have been informed of your patient’s need for transfusion.
Important
Bring the potential donors with the physician’s indication with the requirement(s) of the blood components needed by your family member for transfusion.
